The policy of the Strathalbyn Medical Clinic is that all patients are required to ay their accounts in full on the day.
Fees will be waved for all in clinic consults for the following:
- Holders of a valid Department of Veterans Affairs (DVA) card
- All all children age 0 – 8 years.
Accounts are issued at the time of service, with a request for full payment on the day.
Payment is accepted in the form of:
- Visa / Mastercard
We have the facilities to claim your rebate back on the spot when paid via EFT POS (Tyro System)
After Hours consultation at the Hospital will incur a gap payment of $50.
Billing for Minor Procedures will incure a procedure fee of $30.00 plus a gap payment. Payable on the day
Bulk billing applies to all children 0 - 8 years of age for in hours services.
After hours services will attract a gap fee and be privately billed.

Our practice operates according to the Australian Medical Association Code of Ethics.
From time to time we may ask you to complete a confidential questionnaire giving your thoughts on the clinic and the services we offer. If you feel that improvements can be made, we are keen to hear your suggestions.
